Sometimes it just needs out.

Those rambling ideas stemmed from alternative influences

unconcerned with where the path will lead you.

Sometimes it just needs to be reconciled in order to be attended then put away,

safely out of reach from train of thought and needless anxiety.

Sometimes it just needs out.

A place to be written, a place to be period.

Something constructed, something put forward,

something that's real on the page.

Because it's the only real way through to what's really needed,

what's really wanted and what needs to be out.

Sometimes that's all the writer really needs.

Something that just needs out.
