I Saw A Butterfly Today: photo by Jade Dane Jaspers I saw a butterfly today I stilled my steps and stopped to watch this butterfly to land on flower sitting in a flower pot. I saw a butterfly today its powdered wings were black and yellow it floated in alight on breeze I heard myself greet it, hello. I saw a butterfly today stop to kiss a marigold as if to wake it from a sleep with softly tapping thread of feet. I saw a butterfly today dance on air with its wings awkwardly in no real pattern before it swept off on its way.
