Tis the Frigging Season
Achoo, bless you, thank you, gesundheit, oy, ibuprofen, cough drops, tissues, soothing oils, bath salts, cold chill, blanket, a cup of tea, nap time, a cup of juice, heavens and mercy me. Small sweat, too warm, hydrate, cough, achoo please just be a passing cold, please don’t be the flu. Stuffy nose, clogging ears, small cough, medicate, add expectorant, catch a breath then relax and wait. Achoo, bless you, thank you, gesundheit, oy, appetite now fade to drink, tea, then juice, oh boy. Nap time, cold chill, stuffy nose now cheeks eucalyptus salve on chest, settle down and sleep. Minutes pass, hours fade, three days later now empty stomach growls in need but taste is still bowed out.
