A Day's Offering

Accept I now this written verse from streams of worded universe

to place before you on this day, in this form of written phrase

a delicacy of lettered meter meant to provoke the writer, reader

to aspire more than thought and project as it was taught

in a memory, a living thing, breathing, growing forth to bring

a depth of thinking prepped, procured, strengthen then to assure

those that take the time to share find themselves waiting there

on a lighted colored screen the moments of a time to bring

more to life than what's acquired by the visions of desire

gifts to give and to render to another in written splendor

what can be, what has been, what begins, and to what ends

gathered thoughts can represent upon a moment of intent

to transcript and make a way through a normal every day

vesture made to become the substance of a living form

from emotions, from ideas, where more than being truly lives

clothed in manners write the scribe from inklings bringing forth the vibe

to demonstrate and bespeak the power over what would bleak

a living day where life was still there to abide and to fill

with a favored use in doing what was meant to bring renewing

to another given time a place secured and combined

with the elements of art and natural talents that impart

a co-creation for the day where life was forged to display

one or many illustrations to be present considerations

based on facts or presumptions careful making due assumption

mirrored, pictured for us both, and the mind from which it spoke.
