Little notes tinkling across piano keys Lilting Luring my mind to be at ease Silky Allowing the plausible probabilities Eternity To be what they are for the now Reality

Little glimpses adrift in my mind
Pondering
In search of what I would want
Wondering
Dressed up or dressed down
Considering
Illuminating the undefinable mind
Inspire me

Casual glances across a room
Gathering
Conversations in hushed tones
Whispering
In pursuit of a moment now past
History
Or soon to become a day lived
Prophecy

Not a fickle fad or fate
Reminiscing
Only a visionary's vision make
Projecting
A lifetime of memories forsake
Momentarily
Mingle among the shores of the living
Creativity

Calm now my restless soul
Lucidity
Expose your possible to the plausible
Sensibly
Focus and become the ink
Fluidity
Expanding beyond these realms
Consciously

Mindful of all quirks and qualms
Diligently
Lend yourself to the momentous
Meticulously
Indulge all your wanton needs
Lavishly
Until you've reached where you want to be
Completely

Alas, The Spring

Among the grass now new in green where birds again return to sing. Sparrows, warblers, mockingbirds, swoosh through winds on winged whispers. Sunlight bright, clear blue sky, Easter eggs, kites to fly. Warming air, longer days, teams to sort, ball games to play. Tractors plowing, seeds to sow, sprouts to gardens so to grow. Pollen sprinkles, grass to mow, rumbling rain showers away they roll. Onward, forward, farther go,  sweeping routines clean from souls. Trees in bloom, pink for spring,  adventure calls in visions seen. Motorcycles, water parks, roller coasters, museum arts. Weekend warriors plans in hand,  friend made road trips, sing with the band. Trunks stuffed full for family vacations,  schedules to keep in distant locations.
